| –noun, plural -ties.
1. generous actions or donations to aid the poor, ill, or helpless: to devote one's life to charity.
Since I have been in my crutches and have limited movement. I noticed that a lot of people are being very generous towards me. However, I don't really feel that helpless but I guess people feel obligated to help someone when it might be difficult to do certain things that someone can easily help with.
I don't know if I should milk the situation or fight it. Just cause I'm crippled doesn't mean I don't have money to buy lunch and stuff like that. Maybe I should accept the fact that people will insist to help me because it is the right thing to do.
I think this situation has shown me that my friends do care about me. Driving me to the hospital 3 o' clock in the morning. Giving me rides cause I can't drive anymore. Calling and seeing how I'm doing.
Hopefully when I get better I can understand the meaning of charity more in helping others in need.

| Hey kids,
found out I need surgery today because I torn a ligament in my ankle.
This is getting very rough now
Francis
Hey fellow friends,
I broke my fibula and might have a torn ligament in my right leg. I got injured in a hockey league game on Friday.
Less than 30 seconds left in the game, our team down 1 goal. I was going to get the puck on the side boards in the offensive zone, the guy behind me pushes me a little and I lose my balance and go crashing skates first into the boards.
I'm in a plaster cast right now and using crutches to get around. I will probably be in the cast for 6-8 weeks. My pride has taken a beating this weekend because I have to bug people to help me because I can't do things that I can normally do with 2 able legs.
Though it has been humbling. I have been very thankful because of family and friends helping me out instead of doing whatever they would like and caring for a brother.
Though this injury was not my fault and it's the first time I broke bone in my life before, I'm not upset or angry anymore. Things happen in life and we can grow from it. Though it is hassle having to worry about school and work. I think it will be an important life lesson for me to learn as I grow to become a mature christian man

| Today in my bright and early morning 8:30am Chinese History class. We were talking about the British empire and the China trade. He started talking about opium and told us how to grow it. One of his funny lines were "Don't start a grow op and blame me".
If you're interested. You need to plant atleast 100 opium poppies, which is legal in Canada. After the pedals are blown away, if you cut the green bulb in half you will get some some white latex will come out and that stuff is narcotic. One flower won't doing anything for you. However if you get the white latex from 100 poppies and boil them together than you will get some strong opium.
I just found it interesting... It's not like I'm into drugs or anything

| On Tuesday during our American Sign Language class. The prof wrote on the board breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, snacks, fruits, vegatables and dairy as categories. She told us to write down 3 things we like in those different categories. Daniel the token brother in the class goes up to the board and writes "grape drink" under drinks. I'm not racist but I was dying cause I found it hilarious that he would actually put that. He could have put like grape juice but he put grape drink.
Jut thought I would share that.
